My riches can't buy everything - moving out, autumn thoughts & packing list

My ~ big ~ move has now been pushed back to January. Well .. technically December, but I say January because it sounds better. To me.

I still don't know what I'm going to pack. I feel as if my wardrobe will never satisfy me. Each time I think about it, I'm like: I just need one more of this .. something like this .. this but in a different colour .. this type of dress with some embroidery .. this type of top with no embroidery. Oh well. At least I've started making clothes for myself again.

I can save a lot of money this way.

It will be so satisfying to pack my bags and leave. To actually leave!

I feel as though I have been blessed.

My skin feels soft.

I also have some thoughts about autumn. I've been wearing lots of pastel colours throughout the summer and I'll most likely go back to my usual brown, blue and red colour palette when the weather gets colder. Speaking of the heatwave .. I think it's finally over.

I wore my new fox fur coat today. For the first time ever. I bought it about a month ago, since the sellers put their prices up when the weather gets cold and I didn't want to pay a fortune for it.

Autumn clothing essentials for girls who like the 1960s:

- Coloured tights (mustard yellow, red, blue etc.)

- PVC raincoat (navy blue for moi)

- Knee high boots (preferably leather, since water ruins suede)

- Fur coat (vintage)

- Beret (red, white or blue)

- Turtle neck / Cowl neck sweaters

Just a few ideas .. now, for something a bit more exciting

London packing list of fun things:

1. Books

2. Records

3. Clothes

4. Posters / Postcards for my wall

5. Guitar (MAYBE - NOT SURE YET!!!!)

Yours faithfully,

Frances
