Ça pourrait changer .

Bonjour tristesse.  I haven't published anything on my strange blog for a while, so please forgive me if I fail to string a basic sentence together. At least you know why!  Not quite sure what pushed me to write like this again. The impending weather? Most likely. It's getting colder each day and I can't contain myself, I'm so happy! A few days ago, I went to a concert with a friend of mine and I couldn't peel my eyes away from the singer. He was looking at me, too, but that's a story for another day. The music was lovely and the crowd were too. It was all quite sweet and it made me ache to make music - all over again. I have the equipment, contacts and enough material to last me for at least the next few years and that's if I don't write anything new!  I don't know why I ever stopped. My plan for the next few weeks is to make some crappy demos and put them on soundcloud or bandcamp - probably, the latter. I'm aiming for the old Gainsbourg ' ...

My riches can't buy everything - moving out, autumn thoughts & packing list

Image
My ~ big ~ move has now been pushed back to January. Well .. technically December, but I say January because it sounds better. To me.  I still don't know what I'm going to pack. I feel as if my wardrobe will never satisfy me. Each time I think about it, I'm like: I just need one more of this .. something like this .. this but in a different colour .. this type of dress with some embroidery .. this type of top with no embroidery. Oh well. At least I've started making clothes for myself again.  I can save a lot of money this way. It will be so satisfying to pack my bags and leave. To actually leave!  I feel as though I have been blessed.  My skin feels soft. I also have some thoughts about autumn. I've been wearing lots of pastel colours throughout the summer and I'll most likely go back to my usual brown, blue and red colour palette when the weather gets colder. Speaking of the heatwave .. I think it's finally over.  I wore my new fox fur coat today. For the...

I opened my question box on my socials and picked out some of my favourites: Read on dolls......... 1. "What was the last movie that really moved you / favourite movies?" Ummmmmm ....... I suppose the last film that really ' moved  ' me was  Last Days  [2005] dir. Gus Van Sant - the reviews can be quite mixed, but I really like this film. Meth cleanse, edwardian boys and 2023 evil incoming

Image
I've always wanted to live in a hotel. I almost named a whole band after that fact. And if anyone needs a bad harmonica player for their shit band .. let me effing know!!!! We could be a HOTEL band and I could be the next Bob Dylan. I got a fat pile of CDs for Christmas .. The Smiths, The Cardigans and doubles of Lana Del Rey.  Lucky me. They were boring, I'm smarter now .. time for a meth cleanse?  If I was a man, I would dress like an Edwardian. Handle bar moustache and all.  - Sometime in the future, I would like to have a beatnik solo bender in a fancy hotel - for a rainy week or so. I'm thinking somewhere in New York or France, but it would have to be very old-timey. I would only bring one small suitcase: a film camera, laced peppermint tea bags, writing supplies and a wonderful frock. Ha. "No MORE H!!!" I would scream at the wall, my tea cup following closely after. Girls are stupid. Okay I'm going now.  Read a book. Stay calculating.  Be great. - france...
